Are you an Elasticsearch Engineer (Remote) experienced in building the capability to search across large volumes of data?

You can be based fully remote, with occasional travel to the Birmingham office or be based full-time in Birmingham city centre.

The Elasticsearch Engineer (Remote) will be responsible for:

Architect, design, develop and manage highly scalable ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana) stack solutions, including the operational management of Elasticsearch.

Design and implement a range of queries against Elasticsearch, optimising for performance.

Understand business requirements and create appropriate indexes and documents.

You will also be working closely with other Engineers in the team, providing training and general knowledge sharing.

To be the right Elasticsearch Engineer (Remote) for us, you'll come with the following:

  • Overall at least 5 years of application development experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of strong hands on knowledge with full implementation of Elasticsearch.
  • Deeply technical with a keen understanding of how to make best use of Elasticsearch under different use cases.
  • Have a deep understanding of specialised features such as Percolate and Geo
  • C# & .NET Core experience, particularly with the NEST Elasticsearch client.
  • Experience with DevOps and CI/CD processes.
  • Elastic Certified Engineer qualification (advantage but not essential).
