My client is to appoint a talented and experienced IT Project Manager to join the Project Office and to work one of their largest and most forward thinking programme.
Based in IT Services, the Project Office delivers strategic and complex projects across the organisation. The team acts as a central resource providing professional project management, expertise, and support to project managers across the
organisation in the delivery of their projects.
This 2 year fixed term position as Project Manager is a key role in the successful delivery of the technical work required to achieve the benefits associated with the Programme. This ambitious programme will deliver significant business change to enhance the effectiveness of our services and deliver a more responsive and personalised approach for all involved.
As part of the team, you will be responsible for the project management of complex technical projects.
You will successfully manage the planning and delivery of projects, manage milestones, budgets, and stakeholder engagement, and provide comprehensive management reports.
To be successful in this role,
You will need demonstrable experience of Project Managing software integration & migration projects and managing the associated changes to target operating models
Experience of both Prince2 methodology and the use of Agile methodologies.
Experience of the migration of a system to the cloud
This is the major part of the post holders responsibility involving the following aspects:-
Working with the executive and customers to assess and interpret customer needs and to define the objectives and deliverables of the project.
