Business Systems Manager – Public Sector - £450 - £500 per day

My Client is a large Public Sector Organisation looking to recruit a Business Systems Manager for an initial 3 months to take the lead role in the definition, delivery and support of application services to their Social Care and Education service areas.

The successful Business Systems Manager will also :-

Act as a strategic partner to Social Care and Education teams ensuring that the capabilities of procured applications are configured and maintained in line with the needs and processes of front-line and management team requirements .

Oversee and manage the entire service delivery supply-chain associated with application delivery ensuring all agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Operational Level Agreements (OLAs) are met and that the services provided align with, and contribute to, the achievement of the council's strategic objectives e.g. specific outcomes for residents.

Own and support critical programmes of work including Ofsted response projects.

Optimise the use of available resources ensuring that staff, processes and supporting technologies maximise the value delivered within services whilst minimising the risks and costs associated with these services.

Drive system change in line with evolving service area need and legislative requirements

To be considered for the role of Business Systems Manager , you will have the following skills and experience

Understanding of social care systems or other business critical systems and vendors and associated support processes

Operational experience of ITIL processes e.g. incident, change and problem management

Experience of managing a team of 5+ managing multiple services/applications

Able to design and cost service offerings

Experience of budget management

Broad ICT management experience and responsibility in a medium to large organisation
