My central government client based in Newcastle (NE) is looking for a Senior Application Support Analyst who can successfully hit the ground running.
As a Senior Application Support Analyst the applications you will be supporting are critical to DWP.
You, along with the team, will be responsible to ensure these are kept online and running as they affect thousands of DWP users, who in turn provide services to millions of vulnerable UK citizens.
You will be mentored and coached by others in the team and in turn will be a good team player yourself to help backup the existing sense of camaraderie.

Your strong technical background will allow to learn and picks up skills fast.
Ideally, you would have had a role within application support in the past.

The Senior Application Support Analyst will be responsible for code deployment and coordinate change based activities such as taking services live and upgrade releases.
You will deal with more complex issues and depending on the complexity, size of a project and the likely impact it will have on the business, manage and maintain certain aspects of an application.
You must have Security Clearance before applying for this role.
This role is initially for 5 months with a view to extend just depending on the business needs.
My client is offering £400.00, OUTSIDE IR35 and on call rate of £50 per hour.
