My Local Authority client based in the North West is looking for a Business Process Analyst who can successfully hit the ground running.
The programme team is now working with the chosen partner Agilisys to introduce Business World as their new operating system. They will be working together to get the new system in place and make sure that it meets the needs of the north west councils, schools and their partner organisations.
The new IT system to manage HR, purchasing, payroll and financial services already has an excellent reputation amongst other councils of being a highly user-friendly platform, built to a modern design style.
As always they will be working with users in mind to ensure they meet their vision of:
• Simple – our new solution will be simple, easy to use, intuitive and unobtrusive,
• Standard – we will actively adopt standard best practice processes and solutions, and will not customise those processes without good reason,
• Shared – we will share common processes and working practices across the two Councils and our partner organisations, and
• Self-service – we will roll out processes based on intelligence use of self-service, delivering ways of working which are modern and efficient.
Key duties will include:
Develop and evaluate ‘To Be' operational business processes.
From existing ‘To Be' processes for UAT and input to training material, develop and present processes and identify opportunities to enhance processes.
Liaise with key business stakeholders to coordinate process design activities.
Collect information and evaluate it in the alignment of Programme's and Councils' goals.
Communicate with staff at all levels to progress the process development activities.
Adhere to plans/timescales that contain project goals, milestones, and resources.
Provide weekly reports indicating progress, risks and issues.
You will also need:
Have good knowledge of business modelling terminology.
Have working knowledge of all or some of the following functional processes' Purchase to Pay; Sales to Cash (including Debt Recovery), Finance (Bank Rec, Capital Projects, Financial Planning and general core functions); core HR, transactional HR & Payroll.
Have working experience and knowledge of MS Visio, including the use of swimlanes.
Have a working knowledge of Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN2) – a ‘lite' version is being used on the programme.
Have excellent inter-personal skills and the ability to listen.
Be a team player, able to identify where ‘To Be' processes will impact on or inform other work within the Business Transformation team and the wider programme.
Have experience in business process design and meeting facilitation.
Showcase good analytical and modelling skills.
This role is initially for 2 months with a view to extend depending on the business needs.
My client is offering £42.33 Per Hour, INSIDE IR35.
