My Local Authority client based in London is looking for a Project Manager who can successfully deliver an array of digital transformation projects.
The Council have established the Customer Digital Enabling Programme to build on opportunities to redesign Council services around users with an efficient digital focus, collaborating with service departments and customers directly to ensure that any digital deployments effectively meet the needs of residents, businesses and visitors.
The role of the Project Manager is to manage the design, development and implementation of these services being built on the Council's digital platform, Netcall CXM, and other complimentary technologies, such as the Council's website.
To date the Council have implemented the core Netcall CXM platform and gone live with an initial form integrated to a line of business system. Work continues to deploy further capabilities such as forms, an account portal, tailored subscriptions to email notifications from specific Council services and further phases are being defined.
Key duties will include:
Taking on existing outstanding deliveries and implementing them to completion.
The creation of a PID defining the next phases of work, a project plan and mobilisation of the project plan.
Defining the business and technical success criteria for the project.
Identifying the necessary resources for the project.
Leading and managing the technical resources required to create and implement the solutions.
Providing technical oversight of the project and highlighting key technical risks and recommended courses of action.
Maintaining a list of risk, issues and decisions.
Facilitating issue resolution on the project to maintain momentum and progress.
Providing weekly status reports to the IT Programme Portfolio and the Customer Programme.
Ensuring that key supply chain/ sub-contractors document solution design, architecture and implementation.
Ensuring that the supplier meets their stated objectives and deliverables to time and budget.
