My Central Government client based in Central London is looking for a Senior Business Analyst who can successfully hit the ground running.
The senior business analyst will be working on the HMCTS TCEP programme will overhaul the current way in which fines are collected in a timely manner and sanctions applied when they are not; creating three new service centres and introducing new systems for debt management, payment and receipt; streamlining processes, rationalising data and enabling a more analytics driven approach.
The client need people who can work both part of a team and autonomously with good stakeholder engagement skills to facilitate workshops and synthesise sometime differing views. Ideally they should have had some exposure to both waterfall and agile lifecycles and be comfortable with a range of requirements gathering, requirements definition and analysis tools and comfortable with supporting tools such as Confluence and Visio, working with in-house and both large and SME suppliers to translate requirements into design. They be also asked to support UAT processes.
Key duties will include:
Must have experience of working on Debt Management Systems and Payment Systems before and/or who have experience of criminal justice system.
Proven expertise and experience of analysing, defining and articulating complex problems clearly across strategic, business, systems, process and data areas of work.
Experience of defining and documenting process workflows for system implementation.
Have strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise own workload with competing priorities.
Ability to work confidently with a diverse group of stakeholders and challenge established business processes and working practices.
Ability to develop domain expertise quickly.
Have significant experience of stakeholder relationship management and an ability to influence challenging stakeholders in an environment of competing priorities.
Experience of working within agile, waterfall and hybrid/semi agile development programmes.
Demonstrable expertise and experience of using software tools e.g. Jira, Confluence, Visio.
Proven track record of as-is & to-be process mapping, process re-engineering.
Excellent communication, facilitation and presentational skills.
You will need to have a standard DBS or BPSS for this role.
