A Technical Support Analyst is now sought by a global specialist services Organisation. Working in a small highly skilled team you will be responsible for the implementation, support and maintenance of the server infrastructure and databases.
On a day to day basis this role will involve the Technical Support Analyst undertaking traditional administration tasks on datacentre/DR infrastructure and local and wide area networks.
The Technical Support Analyst will require experience of the following:
- Windows 2012 - AD Group Policy - MS Exchange - VMware ESX 6 - Nagios XI - SolarWinds - TCP/IP - DHCP/DNS - VPN Technical Support Analyst will undertake tasks including - Monitoring/System checks - O/S updates and patches - Antivirus - Install and configure new infrastructure - 3rd line technical support - Project work
However this is a hybrid role offering the successful Technical Support Analyst the opportunity to enhance and build on their basic database administration skills and knowledge. A basic knowledge of SQL Server, monitoring, back-ups, Scripting, performance management, security and general administration is essential. There must be a keenness to build on these skills!
The Technical Support Analyst will be working in a supportive environment with interesting and challenging project work combined with challenging business as usual support in a time critical environment.
