A Technical Support Analyst (3rd line) is now sought by a global specialist services Organisation. Working in a small highly skilled team you will be responsible for the implementation, support and maintenance of the server infrastructure and databases.
On a day to day basis this role will involve the Technical Support Analyst (3rd line) undertaking traditional administration tasks on datacentre / DR infrastructure and local and wide area networks.
Technical Environment – The Technical Support Analyst (3rd line) will require experience of the following:
Windows 2012 – AD Group Policy – MS Exchange – VMware ESX 6 – Nagios XI - SolarWinds – TCP/IP – DHCP / DNS - VPN
Technical Support Analyst (3rd line) will undertake tasks including – Monitoring / System checks – O/S updates and patches – Antivirus – Install and configure new infrastructure – 3rd line technical support – Project work
However this is a hybrid role offering the successful Technical Support Analyst (3rd line) the opportunity to enhance and build on their basic database administration skills and knowledge.
A basic knowledge of SQL Server, monitoring, back-ups, scripting, performance management, security and general administration is essential. There must be a keenness to build on these skills!
The Technical Support Analyst (3rd line) will be working in a supportive environment with interesting and challenging project work combined with challenging business as usual support in a time critical environment.
